Mike Matson

Born in England 1946.
Taught in primary schools for 17 years. Gave up being a deputy headteacher in 1983 when computers arrived in British schools.

Set up the 4Mation partnership to write and publish educational software e.g. "Flowers of Crystal", "Worlds Without Words" and "Guardians of the Greenwood". Left in 1995 to become a freelance writer. Has worked on several titles published by Sherston Software - "Rusty Dreamer", "Tizzy's Toy Box" and "Matti Mole's Summer Holiday".
Despite having written a large number of vastly-superior educational software programs, will probably only ever be remembered as the author of "Granny's Garden".

Is at his happiest when using his imagination and being creative so would love to continue developing ArgoSphere for many years to come.

Lives in East Sussex and could never be happy living anywhere other than in the British countryside.

Thinks that Earth would be a far-happier place if everyone packed their bags and went off to live somewhere else.
